Description

In one of the poorer sections of town, we walked along a crowded street to get to a temple. The houses are on the upper level and underneath are workshops, where the families gather to ply their crafts, or sell their wares to the tourists. In one of my earlier photos, I featured a woman wwhose shop was under her house on this same street. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1531653 The young girl in this photo is one of the womans' children and is selling beaded necklaces and bracelets to the tourists. The jewelry is very inexpensive and we all bought tons as we knew how desperatley the money was needed. I bought things I could never use just because it brought big smiles to the faces of these kids.

That really is a crowded street. The photo is colorful and clear. Fun knowing what is actually taking place. Really great Joelle.
