Description

So here's a little experiment... This should be (and it almost look like) my bathroom! Mind... I've modeled just the room, while the forniture and materials are off-the-shelf! Just one omni light with shadow-map and GI (about 2h render time at 32bpc, talking about light-traps ;^) ). Does it look good for a quickie? Regards, Stefano

The model work is very nice, as is the lighting. I personally cant go without some form of global illumination or radiosity anymore- the effect, as demonstrated here, looks so realistic! A very nice work in progress, I also like the addition of bump or displacement to the tiles- it adds a lot to the realism as well.

Thanks folks! McDod, right, that wall is actually a WIP in the original also, it should get a wooden panel that continues on the roof... sometime... (guess I'll made it, in the virtual at least just to see how it would look). Riko, of course I got an Hi-Tech digital sensor in it that performs ID checks by scanning the user's... hem... and execute flussing depending on previous user's activity. Information is then collected by the house mainframe to provide data for individual health analysis. No, wait, just kidding... I use the shower. :P

Those reflections make me drool, very nice work. I'd try and lighten up the large round shadow in the centre of your room coming from the low wall and the sink with an illuminated plane or something. It distracts the eye a bit. Also, perhaps some colormapping would erase the washed out spot on the right of the wall, and the left of the bathroom. Besides from that, a most excellent render. Interior in C4D can be a bigger bitch than me, so congrats!
