Description

Mizzling.........(for those of you folks unfamiliar with this word, which I love) It's misty and the air feels damp and it's not exactly raining, because the 'rain' comes in such fine drops, you get MIZZLE, that wonderful mixture of mist and drizzle. Well, yesterday it was mizzling all day, and I watched as the minutest beads of moisture on every leaf and twig swelled steadily until there really were big drops and it almost looked as if it had really rained. (It hadn't) This is fun, really looking carefully at the differences, gentle rain, dew and now mizzle. Enjoy. This mizzle lies on a cedar twig.

LOL! You made me go look out the window! Just a little wind down here this morning, gray and cloudy. This is a wonderful image! You have a good eye. I never would have thought to take this shot, but it's very cool. Cedar is perfect for this. Nicely seen, and well captured!

We get a lot of mizzle in the Pacific Northwest. Always makes a beautiful and surreal capture. Beautiful image.

We get that mizzle here too sometimes but we call it Scotch mist and we are away down under, nowhere near Scotland. A lovely shot of this moisture laden cedar twig.

A fine POV and lovely crystalline effect in this shot, young lady! It must have mizzling to beat the band in your neck of the woods. The only mizzling we get anywhere around here are from hoses and lawn sprinklers.
