Description

------------- Tales of the Silver Gryphon - Return to Old Calladon

Moving out of the tunnels, now blocked by a Dwarven adamant doorway at the end, they entered the southern cavern of Old Calladon proper. For ages adventurers had come to this place through the main well or the secret stairs nearer the center of the ruined city above. Only those of the Silver Gryphon had ever entered through here, they and the agents of the Drovikallum who now controlled access to the tunnels. Through their alliance with the Shabrundi Dwarves, they also controlled access to the Dwarven shrine above, where the elevator they'd just descended upon started. Two-hundred feet straight down, with the shrine already a hundred feet or so beneath the ruins of Old Calladon.

Serenity tried scanning but got only reflections. Her scanner, even converted to paratech power supplies and circuitry, could not penetrate the divine blocks for which Old Calladon was so well known. She could get solid readings within a dozen yards or so, but no further. Savra summoned up the daylight from her ankh and threw it as far as she could into the cavern. It was a bold move, but better to introduce themselves and see what was ahead than wander blindly into an ambush. After her adventure with them in the Symballan desert, Opal barely even flinched as the light assaulted her eyes. Of course, her helmet had a great deal to do with that. She drew her second sword and waited. Fallon thumbed through the pages of the Old Calladon maps in her mind. Nothing had apparently changed here outside of the Dwarven additions to the entryway, which she found strange that the current Mistress of Old Calladon would allow. She nodded to Rowan and pointed out the direction they would go with the blade of Phallus. Her sister began casting a defensive spell. It was time to move. Now where was that thief?

I love Fallon and Savra. They are both so cute and so deadly looking. Just the way I like my characters.

This is awesome. The Predator looks kind of out of place though...

Great lineup! Nice work on all of them. Could be interesting to do some individual or more compact groupings so we can see them up close. I'm diggin it.

Well, the predator isn't a predator, its Vhaelik gul'Kurahk, a Githyanki Knight,... on assignment from the Githyanki High Command as an emmisary to the Silver Gryphon. Thanks everybody,...

What an awesome lineup! The poses all work so well for each character. Vhaelik looks out of place because of his lack of girly bits, not because he looks like a predator (hehehe!)
