Description
Took this last weekend on the gulf coast east of the Florida/Alabama state line. This magnificent bird was standing in shallow water, catching a small fish or two.
We wanted to catch him in flight, and almost had to walk right up on him before he finally spread his large wings and took to the air. The flight was short, but just long enough to catch my shot. It was a beautiful sight to see.
