My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Ok..it's from Washington..but what kind of apple is it..? inquisitive minds and R/R folks want to know.:)... and it is a colorful detailed image..

you sneak beautifully, and your partner in crime sounds delightful! That looks so crisp and juicy......A lovely shot.

It's apple season here too. We have something called Apple Hill and its in the foothills where apples grow best. This time of year Apple Hill opens up and everyone drives up there for the best apples ever. All varieties, all colors. I just harvested the apples growing in my back yard - the biggest harvest yet and the lady across the street has been giving away bags of apples from her trees for the past 3 weeks. I seem to go where the corn and the apples grow... I was born in Ohio in the corn and apple belt where stories of Johnny Appleseed abound. A very nice shot of these apples and I can see by the clarity of the shot that they are ripe by the natural wax building on the skin.

Looks like a good Red Delicious to me.....I can begin to tell you how many of those I packed into boxes in my warehouse days.....Thanks for thinking of us over here in Eastern Washington.

Yes, I've see many of these thru out the years. I agree with Merrylee I think it is a Red Delicious also. Thanks for this shot of these great big beautiful red Washington apples.

'LOL, I swear, we're turning into a bunch of sneaks here on RR!! But if that's what it takes to get fotos like this, then I say go for it!! Great shot, and I love your aunt already, sounds like she's one of us!!

Red Delicious? Whatever, the bright red goes so well with the sunny green leaves. I'm glad you didn't get caught; I assume you didn't steal any apples. :-)

HAHAA ! You are sneaking again and even leading your dear aunt to sneak with you. How could you ? ;) Nooo, I let my husband go and ask for permission to enter their area. Today we went to a tire mechanic-- ohh-- and he had alots of rusty items to capture. I made him ask if I could take some shots there, unfortunately I didnt bring my camera today, so i must go there another day. Lovely apple shot indeed and I am watering my teeth :)))

Beautiful red apples, I prefer mine green but I might be tempted with one of these. There is nothing quite like an Apple picked fresh from the tree, a quick buff up and then to sink your teeth into that wonderful crisp flesh. I am sat here drooling I must take a quick trip to the fridge to get one of my apples. Excellent sneaking and photograph Tara, not to forget Aunties involment. Bravo!!!!!
