Description
This was made in kind of a hurry. I had a photo off an entrance somebody built for Heineken her in Holland, I retouched it to remove unwanted details and traced it loosely in Adobe Illustrator. I then added Large pieces of color in Photoshop.
I used Alien Skin's Snap Art on the retouched photo and the traced version. And my favorite, Studio Artist, for some artistic 'image operations' on both.
I combined 10 versions with the photo and the traced image, to get this artistic impression of the entrance. It is a present for the builder, it will be printed on canvas, sized 80x80 cm.

Normally this kind of work is performed before a project by a designer/team :) Great job! I'm sure they will enjoy this on canvas.

Very well illustrated work , also agreed with kurtstart ! Just purchased Corel Painter x last week many many options to achieve this look under one software , it might be worth a look to add to your arsenal !

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I have a copy of Painter that came with my Wacom tablet and waiting for some budget to get Painter X. I would like to mention ArtRage by Ambient Design. It is a baffling small $25, easy, simpler than Painter and does great things with looking like analogue art. ( http://www.ambientdesign.com/artrage.html )
