Description

I forget what type of aircraft this is modeled at, but the engine was running on kerosene if I recall correctly and it could do 180mph! This is one of the model aircraft they had flying the day we were out at Beale. Not sure how high this was when I snapped it, but the camera's got a 12x zoom on it and I was close to maxed out I think...so whatever that works out to. lol. The plane's only about 4 ft long...5 tops just for reference. I'll probably be behind in commenting this weekend for sure, and possibly for quite some time. Not sure if/when I'll catch up either to be honest. I'll try and hopefully I'll at least get to see all that I"ve missed out on, but I'll have more important things to do unfortunately. Dana was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last month and is scheduled for a mastectomy Saturday some time. I'm hoping to at least stay semi-active 'round here because it's a good way for me to unwind, but have no idea how much time I'll have. So I'll just say up front that all your works are Gorgeous! :) Thanks for the peek. John

Breast cancer is to say the least, frightening John and I know only too well, how it effects the whole family. This is a fine shot Sir and I accept that you have far more important things to consider. I send you my best John. This may not be easy for you at times. God bless you and your family Sir! Steve :o)

I too add my prayers for a complete eradication. As to the aircraft, it looks to be modeled on the old Avro Arrow, a Canadian design from the late 60's to early 70's, though I could be wrong.

Hang in there, I lost my dad to cancer some years ago, when you're in the fight there's little else that matters...
