Description

Summer is winding down here in Spain but now that it is cooler the flowers are blooming instead of wilting in a corner. This is called Cosmos (which I didn't know until various RR people told me).

Great macro, and 'down-on-the-deck' POV, too, Rozanne. I could probably get down to take such a shot. Getting back up would be the problem ;o) Enjoy the 'autumn' in Catalonia, my friend. It reached 20C in Glasgow today, and Scotland beat Ukraine 3-1 at Hampden Park. Regards, John.

They look gorgeous against the blue sky, and the light filtering through the petals brings out a lot of detail. Beautiful!:) Especially now that the first snow has started falling around here...
