Hello R'osity friends. A change of pace for you.
I'd like to show you a few pics of this lovely land I call 'home'. I am on an island on the west (aka WET) coast of Canada on the Pacific ocean. Here, in the Cowichan valley (an Indian word which means 'warm land') we are so blessed with this mild climate and can grow almost anything. Today is a glorious, sunny Fall day, with colours all around that make me so glad to be alive and here. On the right of this photo, you see a glimpse of a local 'Christmas tree farm'. (Just wait til I tell you about the salmon, bald eagles, hawks, resident Killer whales, and deer) I am 5 mins from the ocean, and have lovely valleys, farmland and orchards all around. This is a great view. I love the long drive that takes the eyes with it. The fall colors shake up the foreground and the lighting perks things up. Superb shot and a lovely place to live.
