Description

Quite a few got it right, it is indeed an hypodermic needle, it's measurement is 0.3 x 8mm. That is 8mm in length, this particular one is for insulin I might add. Amongst other things I am diabetic and have to use one of these twice a day. I was at a loss of things to do the other night, so I got out the macro and had a play with different objects about my desk. I photographed pins, needles(this one) drawing pins(tacks) pencils, screws and rawl plugs. Isn't it amazing what a bored mind comes up with to try and eleviate the problem. Thanks for stopping by for a look, thanks to those who took part in this bit of fun and thanks to those that care to make a comment. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are.

This is one scary object. I'm terrified of needles, and this one looks huge in the image. My dad is diabetic, and I realize these are pretty small, but still.. Great details on this. Glad you can find something to entertain yourself with. lol. Keep them comming. :o)

Its an incredible Macro Jeff, My thoughts are likewise of muse27, I find these pretty scary too. Must have took some getting used to. I have a dental appointment next Friday morning and won't be happy until Friday afternoon. Mum was diabetic and she never complained and look at how scared I get just looking. Thought provoking!
