With Winter approaching, there aren't many bugs around anymore...so here is a macro I took earlier this summer.

Very nice - I don't know how you manage to get these without them flying away. Everybody in my garden shouts "here she comes!" and they take off! Love the eyes on this particularly. I wanted to ask also, do you use a special macro lens?

It's gotten cooler here, too, but there seem to be more bugs than ever. Strange...Anyway, cool shot, John. He's a hairy lil' bugger, ain't he? Great job capturing his eyes. I wonder what your light source was, the eyes are amazingly detailed, ( and not blown as they probably would've been if I attempted this, lol ). -M :^)
