Description

Captured 10/13/07, around 8:15, on an overcast drizzly morning about 50 feet from my residence. Miraculously, it rained all night providing the first substantial precipitation in this area for seemingly eons! But it's still Droughtville around here. We would need rainfall of biblical proportions to get us up to par. Anyway, I can't recall the name of this particular berry bush, which isn't surprising, but I'm sure one or more of you flora devotees can supply the answer. As is the usual custom, image better viewed full size. Thanks for popping in!

What a refreshing shot! By the size of those drops you better draft some blueprints for the arc! My guess on the name of this berry bush is Bittersweet, but not sure.

I'm so glad to hear you got a bit of rain! The remnants of your drizzle are quite attractive on this lovely but as-yet-unidentified plant. I'm afraid I am no help in that department today, my friend. All I know about plants with three leaves and red berries is that it often is an indicator that one should not touch or eat the plant. (Just in case you were considering running out there and grabbing a few berries for jam!)

Harry, wonderful close up of this plant. I don't know the name of it but I have one in my back yard. You got a great color combo with the red and green - but I'm sure you know that. We've been having some rain too but not enough to make much difference around here. Still, I figure its a start...

It's amazing how the drops hang on the upper edge of the leaves. The really big drops are also remarkable.
