Wonderful old tree stump David, it looks like an arrow(on the left part of the stump) pointing towards the swans or is it that blue painted bridge that I see in the distance? Like the composition, the stump smacks you in the face then the riverbank leads you up and into the picture proper. I like it! Bravo!!!!!
