Description
the ruffed lemur is from madagascar and are one of a number of lemur species all living on the same island. they live in the canopy of trees, eating mainly fruit, seeds, leaves and nectar. they live 15 years in the wild but 20 years in captivity. all species of lemur are endangered because their habitat is being cut down for farming.
