I am so sorry but I think my motherboard is failing. I am going to have to be off pretty soon to find someone to fix my machine for me. Never had a problem with my Gateways, in fact the last one is still running like a champ at 7 years old...this Dell has caused me problems from the 1st year. Going to backup all my files to my external hardDrive and that should take a few days at least....gigabytes of stuff to copy. I'm also going to call Dell and give them a hard time because I've heard that they know they have problems with their motherboards. Worst time to crash during the Halloween season. I have a few images in production that I can't finish because Vue6I, Poser6, PSPXI, DazStudio, Hexagon2 won't open....only Bryce and XaraXtreme will. I thought this just happened but I think it's been happening. Vue went from opening full screen to opening in a tiny window which I had to expand. Been happening for months. I opened my computer today and blew it out. All the fans are running fine and all cards are seated. Scan disc, defrag, Adware, Spybot, Antivirus, etc, etc....all done and nothing found. Time to get everything copied and get this piece of junk fixed. Thank you everyone for the suggestions and sympathies. I truly appreciate it. I won't be around to comment...yet again...sorry.
