Description

I was driving home, heading north, last week down the Dallas North Tollway. I saw these thunderheads building in front of me. I wanted to stop and take pictures while sitting on the tollway, but that would have ended in sure death..lol.. I do not know if any of you have driven the Dallas North Tollway at rush hour but it is definitely survival of the fittest, or maybe the fastest. So I exited off on Forest Lane hoping to find a spot I could see the northern horizon. The cool thing about when I saw these was how the tollroad seemed to lead you right in to this boiling mass of destruction. I believe there maybe a metaphor in that last statement. Anyway, I took the pictures and wanted to share them with you. Not what I had originally seen in my minds eye but still powerful, I believe. Let me know what you think. All comments and instruction are welcome. I cropped, resized and added a bevel to the inside pictures, except one with a drop shadow effect. I resized and added a small border to the background picture. I used my polarizing filter on the lens. See y'all, Todd

Great stuff! I am at the stage where I can't even pretend to understand what clever post work you did....but the final result is impressive!

you done a good collage and photography.if anything you understated the tollway.the speed limit I believe is 60 and if you try to drive 60 you may end up with someone glued to your bumper.I recently drove nearly 40 miles waiting for an ideal place and fairly safe to catch a sunrise on my way to Hugo and farther points north

Cool shots..like the two on the right...we don't see a lot of real dramatic storm clouds out here..ours come off the ocean in a solid mass..drop a lot of rain in some cases and head eastward...

Very nicely put together! Lovely collage and I try my best to stay away from 75 and 635 both, they are always a nightmare! Glad you got off the freeway to take this!
