Description

Wandering around old Aleppo, first lost, then found my way, then watching a short fight between two hot-headed truck drivers in typical Mediterraean Countries fashion, where pride comes first, I ended up hungry at this falafel shop. In Syria, they are doughnut-shaped (toroidal for you tech-heads), but essentially identical in composition and taste to the spherical-shaped ones found everywhere else. The hard working and friendly crew was happy to serve this wandering foreigner, also in typical Middle Eastern hospitable fashion. I and the other customers (all men, who were delighted that I was American)had a good laugh at the two hopping-mad, yelling and scuffling truck drivers and then enjoyed our delicious falafel wraps.

I wouldnt wanna be the guy who gets the one at the bottom of the stack. I like your story. I find that most times a photo gets more interesting when there´s a story attached. =)
