Description

I'll throw one more kids pic from my Middle Easter trip into the barrel. Level of interest is very low in this stuff, I understand that, although I also appreciate the enthusiasm of some of you who enjoy seeing travel and people pics as much as I did taking them. Following my sweaty climb and decent at Masada, it was time for a dip in the Dead Sea. After I got out and had showered away the brine, I saw these kids gooping themselves up with mud from mudpacks they had bought. When I chatted with them, they told me that they were part of a Hebrew Summer School on a field trip. They were a mix of US and local Jewish kids. When they offered me a mud pack, I told them that using it would be too late for me, but way too early for them, to do any good.

Actually, these kinds of shots always interest me the most. People just doing what they do - that's what life is all about and you got it just exactly right here!! Nice foto!!

This is a great photo, and the writer/antrhopologist in me is intrigued by the potential stories behind such images. It's a great shot, vivid and lively!

Actually, they all raced into the briny soup that constitutes the Dead Sea. The water, f you want to call it that, is so heavy and dense that people float like corks on it.

A wonderful capture of those lovely and happy looking kids! I took the cable railway to get on top of the ruine of Masada! Qumran is also close to this place and the fascinating area with the white and salty hills! A fascinating place!!!
