If you compare this shot from the 5th of October with the other in my gallery from June you'd be amazed at the diminishing size of Washington's Lake Cle Elum (in the Wenatchee National Forest) as it appears here just before the start of this year's rains and snowpack. ©2007, Windchime Photography.

many lakes were just like this before last June/July when we had rain for 6 weeks.most filled up and some over the dams.now we are back in a drought along with many other parts of the country
