Description

Snapped this little darling sitting on a rubecia flower in my garden yesterday. I have never seen a Comma butterfly before. Isn't she lovely!!! It is a beautiful sunny day in Bay, so lovely. I thank you all for looking and for comments. Thanks to all who put my last work to there favorites gallery. I appreciate that greatly. Have a fab Friday. Hugs. Diane.

I love your butterfly shots! Lifeenjoyer and I was in Visby this weekend, and wandered the streets of this beautiful town, also called "The city of roses". And they still bloom, soon november. Flowers and butterflies in the fall gives me a comforting feeling of hope (not too keen on the long winter..).

The vibrant colors are blending into one, making the butterfly almost invisible.

What a magnificent light enhancing the colours of this natural couple! A reward from Mother Nature after gales of salty winds and ominous clouds have taken their toll. Wonderful capture, Diane ! Bises, JL

The sun seems to spotlight this lovely sight, just for you. We have a similar flower, called Brown Eyed Susan. They are one of my fall favorites. Great capture of the butterfly. My best to you both, BJ
