Description

Robots get all the crappy jobs. Cleaning up mutant carcasses ranks right up there with the worst. Veronica was certainly dreaming while passed out! Richie is right in being curious. Stay tuned and find out what more developes!! Technical: Some may find this interesting... My mutant is so large in polygon count I have to layer him into the scene seperately. Center frame used the regional render in Vue. Made the scene and rendered empty of mutants. I added one mutant at a time and rendered each, only in his region. Then in Photoshop, I blended all the images together on top of the master image. I then applied multiple layers of filters to the flattened image to get the final effect. Enjoy and I'm always interested in what you think! So feel free to comment.

I get my Sunday comics early - FAR OUT! This looks great. I read you comment about your aliens and having to render each seperately... I'm getting ready to upload my entry for the Dinner with the Dead. I had a lot of seperate renders and layers, what an experience... I feel for you. I learned quite a bit on this process. I watched a movie tonight called prime evil about a crock. I think they did a good job on it. The DVD had specials on how they did the crock and I was thinking wow, I could possibly do something like this with the programs I've got. Special effects looks sooo time consuming, but when you're done, It looks so good. Before the movie, they showed previews of a movie called Reniesance. It made me think of your comic. It's all done in Black and white, animated, no color. Just thought I'd throw some movie titles at you for on a day you just want to kick back and watch some movies... Oh, I never thank you for a comment you left recently stating why my gallery rocks, You really made my Day... Heck, you made my whole year being here. Thanks again.

Tobor! alright... fine example of the 50's era robot... I remember seeing that movie when I was a kid. Mutants, Tobors, and Tor Johnsons... oh my! a very tight series, looking forward to the next installment!

I love the teen drama poured over this series at inopportune times, it works well. As for the technical aspects of creating this image, I've been there.... Multiple rendering and layers like that can be a pain, I commend you for keeping up with it.

That's a really nice spaceship interior, and the wall of dials express homage to Forbidden Planet. Sure would love to see you release a few outtakes at some point.

A fantastic and top-quality job. I said that it is not only valuable for offstet commercial publishing but more, it would be fascinating to get a full tut about the method you are using from scratch to produce these picts. Waiting for the next page!
