morning all, hope everybody had a great weekend. the park where this shot was taken has recently been cleaned up.nobody would go near it except the druggies and the dealers .then 2 years ago the friends of ropner park was formed and they managed to get lottery money to help towards clearing it up .it is now a wonderful place to walk and take the kids .a new play area was put in and a tearoom ,aswell as a bandstand and of course this lake which had everything but the kitchen sink in it is now home to the ducks and swans have a great day mick

I love an happy ending Mick and this sounds just like one. Great picture of the young swans still in their dull coats, soon to change to brilliant white. Nice to hear the park has been rescued. Bravo!!!!!

I wouldn't be so sure the kitchen sink wasn't there too. I've seen some strange things hauled out of the water before. I like this shot with all the graceful necks and easy paddling going on. And a really like that wall.
