Nice capture Mick. I live in quite a small but busy town of Middleton halfway between Manchester and Rochdale, turn the compass around and we are halfway between Oldham and Bury hence (Middleton). We have a Bandstand very simillar but is only used maybe twice a year by Brassbands and sadly frequented by a small group who sit all day and like to drink cheap white cider.(I don't condemn them I wish there were other places for them to go) There are plans next year for a new lanscape to the park, I hope it brings more activity as in your picture. Thanks for sharing Mick.

Great image Mick, its nice to see people from the community supporting the park and the band. There isn't a band stand in the park near to me but I live in the same Metropolitan Borough as Artaddict2 and there are quite a few of the parks being done up in turn. So who knows we may get one in ours next year. Its good that they have all the seating around the Band stand as well, it seems to get used a lot. Loks like you had a good sunny day as well. Bravo!!!!!
