At times, the clouds would move in and the only good visible thing was my hiking shoes. Then there were times when conditions were good. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Somewhat surprised there's not a more well defined trail. Looks almost like a lunar landscape save for the color.

Marilyn...It took approximately 5 hours going up this trail. Did it this past Wednesday...solo hike. Looks like Mars......... Aloha

Looks like Mars, yeah... Good shot, very impressive! No plants, only stones and vulcanoes. And an astronaut`s foothpath....LOL...I plan a holiday at the Canary islands in November - I hope to present some pictures like this from the volcano top. This is good? Ha, ha. How do you know where to go? It all looks the same. I am going up the mountains here this afternoon so I'll post one of the landscape in these parts tomorrow. Nice, desolate photo.

I'll be darned, if I didn't know better I would swear this is a shot of the terrain taken by either the Spirit or Opportunity rover on the planet Mars. Except for the sky it looks just like it. Great POV, colors, clarity and contrast depicted here!
