Description
Took this one Sunday, I was out looking for Big Harry but he woudn't keep still. Then I spotted this poor little thin thing. He might look on the slim side but he's got a big dinner to get through. Who knows? He might rival Big Harry if he keeps catching them this size.
Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make.
May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are.
I won't be on till late tomorrow as I am going out for the day with Alan(artaddict2). Hopefully we will have some nice pics to show when we get back.

This is a wonderful macro that exemplifies something I find of concern and, certainly at the least, a snack for thought: Man... Who trusted God was love indeed And love Creation's final law -- Tho' Nature, red in tooth and claw With ravine, shrieked against his creed. --Alfred, Lord Tennyson Superb photograph skillfully brought to life. Well done!

Great shot of this pretty little spider ( it appears to be a female Long Jawed Orb Weaver of some type)and her unfortunate guest. This is a very nice composition with good balance and flow. I know I have difficulty when I try to focus on such a tiny object suspended in mid air and with nothing else close, especially with a high contrast background. I think the shot is a tiny bit soft but there is no blur, the subject is well lit and clear, and the background is not "grainy", even at full size. That speaks well of both the photographer and the equipment but I bet a bit of extra work with editing could improve what is already a very good image. I, personally, certainly am a believer in using all the digital editing programs at my disposal to help me offset some of my many photographic shortcomings, lol. Thanks for sharing and good luck to you and artaddict2 on the excursion. Lee
