Description

Hi! When I was in Arizona I found these critters down by the creek on an old stump. I swear, when I took the picture they looked more focused... You can imagine my dismay when I got to a computer and looked at the photo; not as sharp as I would have liked. I have been debating with myself about posting them; I figured they were interesting enough to overlook the lack of sharpness. I don't know what they are. They're about the size of a dime, and sorta looked like a big ladybug. I tried to do a bit of bug-googling, no luck. (I left the photos pretty big, if you want a closer look at them.) Thanks for viewing and commenting on my previous upload, "For The Firefighters" Have a Great day! ~HUGS~

Probably needs some sharpening via postwork on these photos. The stump looks pretty good, though. It would have been most fortuitous to get in very close to these little critters and shoot them macro style.

Excellent collage. Their little cousins, the "Pine Beetles", are killing many of our Pinion's on our home lot.
