The lighting and contrasts are beautiful, not to mention the clarity and detail. But what I like best is the motive. The old tree stretching its roots around the stones, the small, fresh bright-green leaves, the other trees in the background... you captured decades, maybe centuries here in a single moment, and show us someting that (to me at least) emcompasses both past and future. beautiful. :-)
