Description

We started the travel to go out Mandalay but circulation not advance a milimeter I requested to my guide (independent, nothing to see with the government) what happens He say with blasé air: “Nothing, it is only a boudhist procession which blocks circulation!” I launch a black look to him to not me talk about, before jumping outside of the car and return more than one hour after It was splendid, an immense procession with people dressed with differents colored cloths, the schools ravelling with their symbols, coloured chars, a whole parade as I never saw During this time, my guide, which knew me already, had gone to the news to be able to answer all my questions "It a procession in tribute to a monk, a holy man very considerated here, which was promoted by the highest Theravades authorities of Sri Lanka What corresponds a "promotion" of a monk requires religious knowledge that my young guide don’t have, I don’t exagerate It was probably the first time of my life which I was charmed, filled with wonder, to be retained of a traffic jam But in Burma, nothing is like elsewhere, even the traffic jams

Your History lessons are the best! I have learned things from you that no books teach! And you have credentials! So do I get a degree as your "student"? LOL!! This is another marvelous capture, it appears to be a very serious affair, judging by the serious looks on the faces of those in the parade. This is a wonderful traffic jamb to be caught in!
