Description
Not sure what I did wrong in this shot but I like the high-altitude mood captured here. It also reminds me that if I don't get out of here soon, I'll be walking home in the dark. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Are there ever landslides there with all those loose stones? I like the sense of height and solitude. I'm just taking a break from painting walls :(

Rozanne...On the regular road way, you will see little rock landslides on the road. As for these trails, not sure if any of the rocks are out of place....but I imagine they do. Aloha

If nothing else, great cloud patterns in this high altitude capture, Shark! I kinda like the dimly lit effect on the rocks below. Also, the sharp silhouetting of the top of the mountain against the sky.

I'm not sure why you think something went wrong here - it looks great to me! The ridgeline is so dramatic against the sky. Cool shot!

most likely the light meter hit the sky when you click. but it best to get home in the light for I can see the lose rocks will be danger for walking in the dark. cool shot
