Description
This is a couple of actors from the company that put on a Shakespearian play, taking some of their props back to storage. Blists Hill is truly a magical place with lots and lots of different things happening every day of the week. As you enter the Village the first thing you see is the Bank, across from the Bank is a goods shed(railway wharehouse). It is in this quite large shed that they have demonstrations. On the day we were there they had, candle making and printing demonstrations. The children(and there are aways plenty of them) could make a candle, not from scratch you understand that would take all day. They were shown how to dip and allowed to make a coloured candle(for £1.00). This shed was also the place where they put on the Shakespearian play, only a short one(thank God). Allthough we did not attend the play we did see these two, pushing the whicker basket through the Village. Being a 'photographer'? I could not resist lifting my camera to my eye and clicking the shutter. They very kindly stopped whilst I took the shot.
This is the last of the Sepia for now but I have plenty more to postwork, so I will post more later. Not much done to this one just the Sepia, cropping and removing a string of Fairy Lights through the trees, I was very lucky being able to crop out the 'modern day people' that were in th shot.
Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to make, I do appreciate them.
May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are. Have a nice weekend.

Excellent composition and tonal range. I like the way the people appear to be on their way to a destination with a quick glance to the viewer. Well done indeed.

Being there myself, on the day, the actors all looked very authentic but the sepia on a photo always gives it that back in time feeling. nice postwork Jeff, you've given me one or two things to think about before I post.
