Description

Tara's(auntietk) image reminded me of these two images, taken way back in 2003 whilst heading back home from a day out at Thorpe Park. Thorpe Park is a large Theme Park and my daughter Emma had been wanting to go for some time. With me being slightly handycapped(with two sticks) I got my son Andy to come along for the day. These were taken with my old Olympus C2020Zoom, my first digital camera and at 2.2million pixels, it was at the top of the range. We had been in a bit of a tailback earlier on the Motorway due to roadworks, then all at once there was virtually nothing in front, so I stepped on the gas and as I came over a small hill this is what was in front of us. I told my son to get a couple of shots and that was all he got before the sun vanished behind another hill. Back to Blists Hill tomorrow for a look in the Iron Foundry. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to make, I do read each and every one and appreciate them all. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are. Credits:- Taken by Andy Mills, Directed by me his father.

You rebel Jeff 100mph. nice sunset, and wonderful Sky. my first Digtal was 2.2 and it came free with my PC package but was very inferior quality. Top pic has a yellow arc top left but as it is taken from the car, perhaps doesn't matter so much. Andy has captured a good sense of speed looking to the grass on the left of lower picture. I was waiting for some foundry pics today lol.

If you look at my windscreen the next time you see my car Alan that Yellow arc is part of my badge for Raynet. It's been there since I bought the car. Anyhow its an extra bit of sun.

Two wonderful shots from your son Jeff. Take your foot off that petrol peddle ;-) How many miles an hour were you going at!!! These works are lovely. I often take a shot when a passenger in the car. A wonderful night is wished for you, dear Jeff. Sunshine huggies. Di. xx

I was wondering how you managed to capture it out the left side since you were on the right side driving.I see many views I would like to capture while driving, but afraid to stop for a non emergency and once you can stop the view is gone.beautiful sunset
