Description

In Burma, all men spend several visits to the monastery throughout their lives. Three days, three months, three years ... Meanwhile they are monks and must obey the rules. After they come back to normal life. The fisrt time is around to 7 years, when they entry to the monastery for a three-month retirement. It's like the first communion for Catholics. This is the opportunity to made big party with a procession sumptuously, more or less depending on the family. The boy is dressed as Prince, like Buddha, it is still, his feet never touching the ground. Once at the monastery, he shaves the head , put out prince dress and takes the robe of monks, symbol of renunciation of material goods. The procession is still made in a buffalo chars, very decorated and all the participants are dressed as the royal family. The sisters and daughters of the family dressed as queens and princesses Before going to Burma, I read a lot and dreamed about all these rituals "I must be realistic, it should be increasingly rare and difficult will coincide with my visit to the same placeand I am very surprise that I succeed seeing a Shin Piu! " I was in Burma since only 4 hours when I saw my first, magnificent Shin Piu at the Shewadagon Temple I am amazed!! What luck! Fortunately I don’t have notjing of “blasé”, if not, a few days after, I would say "Oh, another Shin Piu still blocking the road"; -)) I follow all I have meet, been invited by the family to participated and be honor guest How do you want I don’t fall in love for a country lie this?

Another exotic scene from Myanmar, this time showing a prince on his way to a domed edifice, riding on of all things, some kind of primitive cart. Fine POV and DOF, although the image itself is a bit dark for my taste. Pretty sophisticated frame in use here, looks good.
