Description

It was a cool afternoon today, and there was a lovely smell of wood-smoke wafting across the lake. The occasional kayaker glided by me, glowing with exertion, and the cool breeze coming from across the water was busy riffling both the leaves and the ducks' feathers. This Fall day is a gift of sights, scents and sounds. My nearest sound now is the crackling of a newly lit fire, and I wish an equally pleasant evening to you all.

Now you're beginning to sound like MrsLubner with her Henry David Thoreau-like narrative (I suspect there will be terrible repercussions to that innocent, and actually complimentary, remark). In any event, a great POV and DOF employed in this splendid capture of a lovely and peaceful vista on that autumnal day. Great clarity and silhouetting displayed of the trees.
