Description
I took this when I was at the beach in southern California. I saw this great blue heron across the river jetty at the same time 2 dogs came bounding across the sand. He took off and I followed him with my camera. The foto came out a bit blurry, so I did some more tweaking and really liked what I came up with!!

This is great, the postwork makes it more like a painting but that isn't a bad thing. I have yet to get a bird in flight, I'm good at scaring them off but thats about all. I like this though all the blue tones and yet the bird still stands out and it has the feel of movement, which in my book is good. Bravo!!!!!
