beautiful work as always. glad to see you working through some of the less well known models. will you be working your way through the japanese aircraft from WWII? i know most people associate the ubiquitous zero fighters and betty bombers with japanese air power in WWII but they had a host of other aircraft including twin engine fighters, some of it quite effective(the george comes to mind for some reason.

This is a very nice one I am fond of Japanese designs. Radial engines with a big hub and the nice flow of the wings makes for some great lines.

It looks to be a powerful brute with a mighty engine. "Home Island Defence" suggests it was usefully employed against the high-flying B29's. Actually, I looks to be unbalanced by that engine, and aren't those wings a problem. A most unusual aircraft but presumably built for a purpose.
