Description
bowser is a ferret cross-polecat,his mum was a ferret and his dad a polecat. it is not unheard off for the 2 types to interbreed. his dad had a very sad life up until we rescued him and saddly passed away last year at the ripe old age of 11. i also have bowsers sister too but she is saddly dying of bowel cancer for which there is no cure. he is a great fav of mine and is his dads double.

Cute pet. At least you care about yours. So many people buy ferrets on an impulse because they're so nice and friendly, only to get rid of them as they grow (a few months) older, because they need too much care. Sorry to hear about Bowser's sister. I keep budgies, one at a time, and I know how it feels to lose your pet. I've had four since 1980: Polly, Winnie, Li'l Elmer and Chip. You get so used to them they become part of the family. By the way, excellent portrait!

I knew the little stinkers were a cross between weasels and polecats but didn't know they continued the tradition! ;-) Neat looking little guy.
