Description

After emerging from the tunnel through Žižkov's massive hill with my friend Tara, I turned around and captured this shot while Tara was off hunting for some bizarre shadows to capture. We'd decided to spend the day going around and making photographs and this is one of the ones from that day. Žižkov is a wonderful area of Prague, a bit blue collar in overt appearance, but like the rest of the city, there's an art vibe everywhere. The hill itself is blanketed in dense foliage and crowned with an enormous statue of Žižka, a national hero with only one eye...unfortunately none of my Žižka statue shots came out. So I guess that's yet another reason to return to Prague. Postworked in Photoshop because I seem to be on this immense photoshop kick lately. As always, thank you for viewing and commenting! Hopefully you enjoy this image!
