Description

Among the usual wonders of Prague are...well...what I've come to know as Parliamentary Peacocks. They wander freely around the grounds of the house of Parliament. You can walk there from the Prague Castle or Karlovy Most, and there are dozens of peacocks, peahens and peachicks...they have free reign of the place and are exceptionally acclimated to humans, though you are encouraged NOT to touch them. If you do so, you run the risk of being "denounced." As always, thank you for viewing and commenting, and hopefully this is another image that you enjoy.

A stunning capture of the colours and texture of this beauty! I like the pose as well....it's not the typical spread-feathered that one usually expects to find when thinking of the "peacock". The tail to the side is creative and unique and really makes for a bold statement....... very natural state of being, and exceptionally captured! I love the lighting and the greenery surrounding this lovely animal!

Great capture. And I love the title, too! We have peacocks in Warsaw, too, but not at this time of the year. Seems like the beautiful weather is over now.
