Un magasin de souvenirs, comme il y en a partout Il vend des chouettes dorées
Ce n´est pas la feiulle de l´or du tout
Elles sont em papier et trés trés bom m marche
Mais elles vont la joie des enfants et des jeunes amoureux
La chouette est censée porter bonheur, comme les éléphants, les fleurs de lótus et plus 50 choses dont je ne me rappelle pas
A souvenir shop, as there are everywhere, it sells golden owls
It is not the golden leaves at all
They are in paper, very very cheap
But they made the joy of children and young lovers
The owl is supposed to bring GOOD LUCK, like elephants, lotus flowers and over 50 other things that I do not remember
GOOD LUCK FOR ALL!!

I have a small collection of chinese lucky cats on my windowsil lol But I wouldn't mind collecting owls! I just love that bird! it must be the big eyes :)

Yeah, lucky rabbit feet, which is not so lucky for the rabbit ! I would have never guessed an owl as a good luck charm, but I think the golden colour must have something to do with it ! Neat shiney capture ! LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)

Not much different then anywhere else, here it is lucky rabbits foot (not so lucky for the rabbit), four leafed clovers, horseshoes, and so on and on! Each country seems to have it's own things that are considered good luck! So it is not so different in Burma. Perhaps their symbols of good luck are a little more wonderful then ours, LOL, a golden owl is so much nicer then a poor rabbit's foot!
