Description

In keeping with my Halloween (my favoritest holiday) I have here a shot of part of our backyard. The fishpond has a fountain/birdbath, and has served as a splendid backdrop for our jack-o-lanterns this year. There's actually two of these trees, one of either side of the pond, and each has one of these gargoyles attached. They make such nice guardians that it seemed only fair that I include at least one of them here. This gargoyle was designed and sculpted and then cast in concrete by my housemate. (he even sells them...) Thanks for taking a gander, and have a great Halloween.

Very nice backyard, park like with the amazing gargoyles, fountain, and jack-o-lanterns. I have an uncle who made gargoyle like heads for his fountain with concrete and used soem really good halloween masks for his molds, put your housemate's from scratch ones are even more of an artistic achievement!!!

Sure is a fun setup, like the angle shot includes a guard in there.

This is a great shot, interesting art on both counts as well...your own and your housemate's. Sounds like you have a wildly creative living setup which is always good. The colors here are nicely striking and I love the various captured details! Great stuff!

Halloween lets us get crazy and be who and what we want - this is so great, the colors, and the detail. I love the gargoyle, no garden should be without at least one!!!

Now that's creative decorating, and if the pond has goldfish in it, there are already dressed for the occasion. :)

Oooo...I love it! I'm pretty much a gargoyle junkie...and, well, Halloween also my favorite...for several different/meaningful reasons actually. Wonderful capture here, DrO...Just sorry that it takes me so long to meander my way through here lately. Blame Comcast...Grrrrr....lol. Hope your holiday was great! :)
