C´est seulement quatre Buddahs gigantesques ( tellement grands qu´on ne peut Photographier que deux à la fois) quelque part, dans un endroit perdu de Birmanie Là, même moi, spécialiste en trous paumés et boondoks en géneral, je ne me rappelle plus Il suffit de regarder les guides de voyage, mais je ne les ai pas ici avec moi Il y a une légende comme quoi ils ont été commandés par quatre soeurs Je ne sais plus si les quatre était marriés ou si elles ne se sont jamais marriés et qu´est-ce que cela avait à voir la construction des statues Pardon, mais c´est trop de légendes birmanes compliqués avec des rois et des reines aux noms impossibles pour mes pauvres neurones Parfois je cale :-)) Ce qui est vraiment important est q´il s´agit d´un endroit merveilleux, perdu au millieu de nulle part, que vous avez encore rien que pour vous J´ai dû attendre longtemps que quelqu´un passe à coté pour donner l´echelle humaine à la photo Regardez à droite Vous pouvez passez toute la jounée ou toute votre vie là à lire, rêvasser, regarder le paysage Un endroit merveilleux comme ça, unique au monde, est encore entièrement à vous et aux birmans qui passent par là! Only four Buddhas (so great that we can tae photos only to at time) somewhere in a lost place in Burma Here, even I, a specialist in lost places and boondooks in general, I dont remember the place I need only have a look at the travel guides, but I don’t have here with me There is a legend as they were ordered building by four sisters I don’t remember if the for sister are married or if they have never been married and what it had to see the construction of statues Sorry, but sometimes It is too complicated all this Burmese legends, ith kings and queens with impossible names for my poor neurons ! What is really important it´s s a wonderful place, lost in the overload of nowhere, you still just for you I had to wait a long time for someone to pass near to tae the photo to give the human scale You can spend the whole day or your entire life here to read, daydream, look at the landscape A wonderful and unique place like this is entirely to you and Burmese who go through there

Once seen never forgotten, these monumental Budda's, your patience waiting for someone must be applauded because we now have a scale to work out the actual size of these. They must be about 25metres high possibly a bit more, that would have took some building and without modern day tools. Excellent shot and narrative Rosely, it is always with pleasure that I view your work. Bravo!!!!!

Wow, those Buddhas are super white! And what's with all that makeup? Eyeliner, penciled-in eyebrows and black lipstick. Great clarity, textures and lighting in this shot from Myanmar.
