Hello ALL!
Playing with a jack'o lantern today with animation still experimenting with it -wanting to wish you all a Happy Halloween!!. hmmm why did it come out grainy? Wasn't grainy before it was animated (hmm a big bad witch put a spell on it !! LOL...thats it!! ) Still learning about this animation process!!!... oh well I can live with grain ...
The funny thing about this Jack-o-lantern is that "Jack" drew its face on *( my 4 year old nephew) and that the eye doctor *( my brother in law Eric-a lasic surgeon) carved out its eyes !! hehe....true story ( met my sisters family in Santa Barbara this weekened and we all carved pumpkins and ate samores by the fire ...)
Then I smudged it and overpostworked it to death ( muhaha) hehe....
ok a little pumpkin story here now:
When I was growing up ( and even now ) my Mother had this thing about always finding the best pumpkin stem ...lol now I find myself looking for a long curved and beautiful steams on the pumpkintop!! I cannot bring myself to get one with no stem or ugly stem LOL!!...funny how things are passed on like that !!...

The graininess probably has to do with they type of compression you used on the file. If the compression ratio is too high it gets grainy... Neato picture!

I have thought about what you say regarding the grain, I might be way out but could it be that after the animation you had to downsize the file for upload to RR, in which case it would reduce the quality of each frame. Like I say I could be way off the line, just a thought. Grain no grain, still a good animation sequence, I wouldn't know where to start. Liked the narrative as well, nothing like a bit of information added to a picture. I know they say a picture is worth a thousand words, I don't ask for a thousand, just a few. I like what you've done here Kim. Bravo!!!!!

what a great idea ! Love the animation work. Seems they almost always come out grainy in the end......particularly in order to get the image down to the Rosity size limit. It doesnt look that grainy to me. Have great fun doing animations. They are such fun !

this is sooooooo cool Kimmie. How do you do these animations? Special program I take it? It's perfect.. I've been 'studying' it here for the last few minutes; you did such a good job on this. the POV in which you shot the pumpkin to begin with is great, with the white window frames in b/ground.. the warm colors and light is perfect too. Good job!

What a great carving! And an awesome animation to this! I never paid attention to the stem on a pumpkin before -- I'll start paying attention now becaue this one sure adds a lot of character to your pumpkin! :^)
