Description

No offence to anyone... saw this statue in a cathedral and totally love it. Would love to know who the artist is but forgot to check on it. Will have to go back again I guess to find out.

Some people can be too PC or just refuse to face up to life's reality, I suppose. This should make church goers think, pray and then act. I like the idea, my friend. Churches are not there to make us feel comfortable. Christ made most, if not all, of His hearers distinctly uncomfortable. Many will, I know, react against the skinkess flesh, the protruding bones etc. Christ did die for us, and a gruesome death. We do not need a Mel Gibson to point that out to us. However we beleive that He did rise up again, and will raise his disciples too. That is why He went to Hell to prove that He had power over Satan and all his hordes. Man need no longer be a slave to sin. Rejoice, don't grue. Regards, John.
