Description

Ok, so this was my "Dinner for the Dead" entry, but I blew the dead(hmm is there a pun here??)line. My original idea was much better; I was going to borrow my friend's 4-year-old, have her in the prettiest little pink dress with her favorite tea set and take her a really old cemetery near me. But, I realized that would be way too weird for most 4-year olds,, not to mention their moms. So I went to the dollar store, bought all the Halloween stuff I thought would work, found a couple of dolls, and came up with this. Just the girls tryin to have a tea party with their friends!! Happy Halloween!!! Ugh, I am SO not happy with the way this posted here, the original was so much sharper and clearer, so the my only thought is the spooks have toyed with it for making fun of them!! Yikes, hope I haven't hexed myself!! PS again -- I'm now in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 3 weeks. You'll be seeing LOTS of tropical shots, I've seen a gazillion potential fotos already!! Hasta Luego!!!

I don't know that the cemetary is a strange place for a tea party with a 4 year old. When my grand daughter was 4 we started having regular picnics at our historic cemetary here. She loved to lay on the graves and pretend she was the one the headstone was for. She still loves to go, now that she's 14, but now she prefers to peer into the large crypts and read the headstones. :-) This is a pretty interesting shot. Very creative and unique! :-)

Great image...the fact that it didn't post as you intended just adds to the mystery of it. The colors are great though and I like the concept of it. Maybe I was a weird kid, but at age 4 I would have loved picnics in a cemetery, but alas, my parents would NOT have gone for that. I look forward to Mexico pics too!

Hola mi amiga! Como estas? (Okay - unless you want to talk about shrimp dishes, that's about the extent of my Spanish.) What a fun image! I think it turned out just fine. Very spooky!
