Description

This is on the Malecon, the long boardwalk in Puerto Vallarta. It's my first post from here, the obligatory sunset, with a bit of a twist. As the sun starts to go down, people just stop in their tracks and turn towards the sun. I loved this shot, got just what I wanted, sometimes I get lucky!! Hasta Luego, amigos!! This is for you, Mad-Mike, your first beach foto!! Thanks for all those hot GTO's, specially those red ones!!!

Very nicely done. the soft color as the sun sets is soothing and seeing those people watch it only makes you look at it too all the more.

Oooh, this is a fun pic. I love it when stuff gets self-referential like that. I love the whole composition of this piece though. It's a nice twist, and a delicious play on something that always seems to happen. I noticed it among tourists in HUGE groups. They stop, specifically to take pictures of sunsets or landmarks, but what they get is mostly a picture of OTHER tourists taking pictures. But to do that on purpose brings the whole thing into a really cool, ironic perspective. And on top of all of that long windedness...this is a great capture and the sunset IS gorgeous and beautifully offset by the sailboat and the photographers.

Ah! a sea worth sloop! the sturn cuts down towards the bow instead of further to the back. Must've sailed down the coast. Lucky peeps aye. Bonker bonked it right on the nose. It's one thing to snap a pic of it...it's another to enjoy it. But it's nothing bad. Nice shot! the sun peiring through the sail is a good look.

Nicely captured. I guess the people all wait for the sailboat to be in the right place. The silhouetted figures make the picture. Excellent job, the horizon is level too!!!
