From the colours in the dug out mine you can see trace elements of what is left behind of the Uranium...Tomorrow I will show you the full view of what remains now of this once busy mining spot...Oh, and I didn't glow yellow after being here..lol

glad to hear that you did not glow like a lightning bug-haha.very interesting to see uranium as I have never been to a U. mine. strip mining here has always held my interest and a former strip pit is home now to alligators not far from where I live

Wow, Mother Nature at work again, or rather man exposing Mother Natures undersides. LOL! Fabulous picture, wonderful colors!! Never seen a Uranium mine, seen coal strip mined.
