Description

Now back to traditional photo's Looking towards the famous Henley Bridge. Henley Bridge is a five-arched stone road bridge built in 1786 at Henley-on-Thames over the River Thames, between Oxfordshire and Berkshire. It replaced an earlier wooden bridge, the foundations of which can be seen in the basement of the Henley Royal Regatta headquarters nearby on the Berkshire side. Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~) **Best Viewed Full Size**

This is a beautiful view, and I love the way that the bridge you wrote about is nearly dead center in the image, but NOT exactly the first thing that your eye is drawn to. That's a neat trick to accomplish! Great composition all around and I love the trees on the right side of the image.

Great shot David, this looks like a place I could visit and walk about, I cannot do with crowds of people but this looks OK. I like the pov, the slight bend in the path takes you up towards the church and then across the bridge to the trees. Tastefully done and informative text, I always like it when a shot has a description for there are many times, I view and don't know where it is or what I'm looking at, so extra marks for that. Bravo!!!!! +5
