Description

Now back to traditional photo's Looking towards the famous Henley Bridge. Henley Bridge is a five-arched stone road bridge built in 1786 at Henley-on-Thames over the River Thames, between Oxfordshire and Berkshire. It replaced an earlier wooden bridge, the foundations of which can be seen in the basement of the Henley Royal Regatta headquarters nearby on the Berkshire side. Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~) **Best Viewed Full Size**

Wonderful capture! I love the arches - the whole thing is so graceful. It's amazing that a 220-year-old bridge is still in use! Fascinating.

Very nice David, the sun shining on the bridge makes for a great shot, the boats a reminder that this river is used extensively and for some their only source of income. Bravo!!!!!
