Back in the 50's the film board kept all sex and swearing off the screen, so one had to be creative to slip one by.
Medical terms worked well, like "Succeed to expire consuming feces..." or "Endeavor to self copulate" could elude the censor's bleep.

Ken Tobey to the rescue! awesome detail on the Sabres! reminds me of all those Sciffy movies from the 50's with all the stock footage.... scene to scene the planes would change from Shooting Stars to Sabres to Panthers... all flown by the same squadron. Looking forward to the next installment... might we get a glimpse of Vincent Price, or Vampira.... John Agar!

After the last page with all the teenagers doing the mickey moust roll call, I thought you were making a joke starting this one doing the same thing with the pilots, hee, then I realized WHAT they were saying, great, too funny! Well, at least with your 'secret code' you won't have to worry about the moderators pulling your image (unlike my last 'fetish festival' one that stayed posted all of a few hours before they yanked it, I think one of them used to work for the FCC actually, those Delta India Charlie Kilo's, rofl). Keep it up and we'll keep reading!

Which is very funny is that Platin who is an acomplished comic author prefers the last two frames. I find them less convincing than the top of the page, although not bad for sure! The top panel is really excellent, as well as the two later ones. Really it is a comic of uncompromized quality in a great classic style! You have all my admiration!
